Miss A, 38 years, female, B.H.M.S. pass with a diagnosis of Chronic Paranoid Schizophrenia since 2014. She was admitted to Nav Uday in 2025. She had many problems such as not following her daily routine, deterioration in personal hygiene, aggressive and abusive behaviour, auditory hallucinations (hearing voices), non-compliance with medication, suspiciousness, and lack of interest in any activity. After a stay of 3 months and being treated with pharmacotherapy, Behaviour Therapy, counselling, motivational interventions, and vocational training, she showed improvement in her behaviour. After discharge, she takes part in various household activities, takes care of her house and child, and is preparing for her medical officer examination. She has become compliant with her medication. Her husband has informed that she will be rejoining her clinic again. She comes for regular follow-ups and counseling sessions.

Client 2

Mr. B, 42 years, male, with a diagnosis of Chronic Paranoid Schizophrenia since 2000. He was admitted to Nav Uday in 2019. He had many problems such as self-talking, abnormal gestures, laughing to himself, restlessness, pacing up and down, arguing, using abusive language, and sleep disturbances. After a stay of 2 years, he underwent comprehensive treatment including pharmacotherapy, Social Skills Training, Behaviour Therapy, vocational training, counselling, and motivational interventions. He showed improvement in his behaviour. After discharge, he attends the day-care centre regularly and stays alone in his home. He takes care of his house, performs all household chores independently, and takes his medication regularly.
